Brian joined Stratton Immigration in April 2018. He previously worked as an associate attorney with the immigration firms, Higuera & Vanderhoef and Rios & Cruz in Seattle, and Bretz & Coven in New York City. Brian began his legal career with the legal non-profit organization the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project in Florence, Arizona. He attended CUNY Law School in New York where he participated in the immigration legal clinic and completed multiple internships focused in international human rights law.
He has been involved in immigrant rights advocacy and exclusively practiced immigration law for 10 years. His current practice focuses on representing individuals in removal and deportation proceedings, and also in connection with affirmative applications for naturalization, family-based immigration, asylum and related relief. Brian is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is admitted in New York and his immigration practice is based in Seattle. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Courts of Appeal for the Ninth, Second and Third Circuits.
Brian enjoys exploring the nature of the Pacific Northwest, playing guitar, woodworking and growing his vinyl collection. He has lived abroad in Argentina and Mexico and speaks Spanish.
